This week has not been updated because it was a busy week. We had two open houses to go to on two seperate nights and daddy had two meetings throughout the week. Today, mommy and the boys went to Christian Academy's football game. Amber is a cheerleader for the middle school football team. The boys enjoyed watching the game. Daddy and Camryn went on errands and then went to Joe and Tracy's house to help Joe with his car. Tonight we are going out to eat with mamaw Mary, papaw Fred, uncle Chad, and aunt Jessie.

Sunday, August 17th

Today was promotion Sunday at church. Christian went to his 3rd grade class, Clayton to the 1st grade class, and Camryn moved out of the nursery into Ms. Judy's class. It is hard to believe she's that big already. She did great though. She walked right in and sat at the playdough table. It was a very special day for Clayton because today was the presentation of the first grader's bibles in the worship service. Clayton was so excited about his new bible. We came home, ate lunch, and mamaw Patty and papaw Bill came to visit for awhile. We went back to church tonight, we are trying to get in the habit of going on Sunday nights also. Oh yeah, if you're wondering what happened to Clayton's right eye, on Sat. we went to Aunt Christie's and daddy was swing Alex around like an airplane and accidentally hit Alex's head on Clayton's eye. He has a huge black eye!!!!!!

Friday, August 15th

The Big 30th Birthday!!!!

Sorry this blog has not been updated in a week, but we are very busy these days. Mommy is working 12 hour days, the boys have started school, and we are out the door at 6:00 in the morning and don't get back home until 6:20 in the evening. But I'll try to update every now and then. Today was my birthday and mommy went to work as usual. Daddy suprised mommy with flowers delivered to the daycare. They are so pretty, thank you daddy!!!!!! Then daddy suprised mommy and picked up the kids at daycare after work and took them to Ms. Amy's to spend the night so we had the whole night together. It was hard for mommy because she feels like she never gets to see the kids anymore, but they had a great time and mommy and daddy need special time too. Amy took them to the zoo. Meanwhile mommy and daddy went out to dinner and then rented a movie and vegged out at home and watched movies. I know it doesn't sound very exciting, but after being gone practically all week, it was exactly what mommy needed. Thank you Amy and Clay for keeping the kids!!!!

Saturday, August 9th

This morning daddy went with a few of his friends to the daycare to move a sign. Thanks guys for your help!!! Mommy played outside with Camryn while Clayton chose to spend his Saturday morning watching cartoons. Christian had gone with the men. After lunch, mommy went to the grocery for the daycare since we are opening bright and early Monday morning. We had a social to go to at 3p.m. We met our S.S class at Buca De Beppo. We had a great time. Mamaw Mary came to our house to watch the kids. After we got home around 5:30, mommy went back to daycare to get some things ready for Monday. It was a very busy day, and mommy is tired!!!!!

Monday, August 4th

Today we had some errands to do downtown and then we stopped off at the grocery for a short trip. After lunch, Chandler came over to play with Christian and we took Clayton over to have a play date with his friend, Jonathon. Chandler stayed until around 8:30 and they played outside, jumped on the trampoline, and swam...alot. We grilled out for dinner tonight. Our friends, Jason and Kristi, showed us a good seasoning to put on our chicken when grilling so we have been having that alot. Chandler finished his plate first and then asked "What are we having next??" Karla, don't you feed that boy????? Clayton and Christian had a great time playing with their friends today. We haven't really had alot of play dates with our friends this summer because mommy has been sooo busy.... but friends are very important and I want the boys to realize that.

Sunday, August 3rd

Today we all went to church and then went out to lunch with the Harrods and Grandma afterwards. Camryn and mommy took 3 hour naps!!!! We went back to church tonight for the reports from all of the various camps. Ms. Peggy came home with us after church and had dinner and now it is off to bed because we have got to get on a good bedtime routine since school and work are just around the corner.

Saturday, August 2nd

Today at 11 a.m. we went to Schaffner to orientation for Christian. His teacher seems really nice. The boys that came over last night to play are twins, and Christian has been in one twin's class the past two years. Well, this time he got in the other twin's class so he was thrilled because he said he prayed that he would be in one of their classes. After orientation, we went to eat lunch at Burger King. We hung around there for awhile to kill some time because Clayton had orientation at 1:30. Clayton's teacher seems nice also and he was so excited that he had an actual desk (in kindergarten they just sat at tables). Mommy is a little nervous about him riding the school bus, but Christian assures me that he will sit with him and help him switch buses at the compound. Now, let's just hope that Christian doesn't have it in for Clayton and point him in the wrong direction!!!!!! We all went to Russ and Angela's house for dinner and the kids and adults had a great time.

Friday, August 1st

Today we did our normal routine. We got up, and then headed out the door to go to the bank and to the grocery. Our pool is still kind of green, so no swimming again today (and we really could have used it). Mommy had to go to the daycare tonight for a couple of hours for tours (we are up to 25 kids now!!!!) and Christian's friends from school came over to play for a few hours.
