Papaw Mike and Cammie

The gun isn't real, I promise

Today we headed out to Campellsvilee around 11:00. We went out to lunch at Creekside and then went back to Pa and Dorothy's house. It was another pretty day (but a lttle chilly), so the kids played outside with their pellot guns (supervised of course). The girls stayed in and entertained Camryn. She is the only granddaughter on Scott's side, there hasn't been a girl since Becky, so everyone just eats her up. She especially has Papaw Mike wrapped around her little finger. We didn't get home until around 7:00. Daddy gave the kids the box that our t.v. came in, and they have made little beds in there and want to sleep in it tonight.

Friday, November 28th

After we got home, Camryn helped mommy wrap the one Christmas gift that I have gotten (this one is for cousin Alex)

This morning, we woke up and started putting up our Christmas tree and other decorations. Mommy went out to Kohls with mamaw Mary to get Camryn's Christmas dress, but the lines were way too long to stand in just for a dress, so we left. When we got home, daddy, Christian, and papaw Mike went out to Walmart and to Circuit City. We have had our eye on this certain LCD screen television set. It was marked down even lower today, so daddy decided that was a sign to buy it. Merry Christmas to us!!! Meanwhile, mommy took Clayton, Camryn, and Tyler from across the street to Toys R Us to look around and then to McDonalds for dinner and to play. The boys spent the night with mamaw Mary tonight and mommy and daddy are just going to veg out and watch a movie on the new t.v.

Camryn plays with these every time we go to Mamaw Patty's house

Happy Thanksgiving!!! Today at noon we went to mamaw Patty's and papaw Bill's. It was a pretty day so the kids played outside most of the time. Then we headed out to aunt Christie's for yet another meal. We had a great Thanksgiving Day with all of our family and the kids were on their very best behavior. It is alot easier now to go from place to place now that they are getting older and can do without naps. What great things to be thankful for; three beautiful, healthy, usually well-behaved children, and a husband that is always seeking God's will for our life. I am truly blessed!!!!

mommy put Camryn's hair in sponge rollers last night for the 1st time
My pretty little girl all ready for church....

What big hair for such a little body!!

Camryn's new toddler bed

Saturday morning we just layed around the house and watched t.v. . It was extremely cold outside. Daddy went to get a haircut and then after lunch, mommy ran and then got ready for a wedding. A girl at mommy's work got married, Ms. Amber. Daddy watched the kids while mommy went to Ms. Amber's wedding. Then we headed over to grandma Cook's house to gather a few items because the house was sold. After going there and then running to daycare to drop some things off, we went out to dinner. Mommy and daddy started feeling very achy while we were eating, after dinner we came home and got ready for bed. Camryn got a new big girl bed today. She went to her bed when it was time and went right to sleep. This morning mommy heard her coughing around 8 or so. She got out of her bed and came in mommy and daddy's room, then came to mommy's side of the bed and said "I need some cough medicine." Daddy preached at Ralph Avenue Baptist today and did a great job, despite the fact that he was up most of the night coughing. We ate lunch at Ralph Avenue, then headed home for some much needed naps (maybe not needed by the kids, but definitely needed by mommy and daddy).

Today we stayed home from church because Camryn wasn't 100% better. She didn't sleep real great last night and her fever got high again in the middle of the night. So, we took it easy again this morning. Later on, we went to Walmart because we hadn't left the house since Friday night. Clayton and Camryn got notebooks to write in. Daddy and Christian came home around 1:30. They took showers and we headed out to Uncle John and Aunt Kim's to visit with Aunt Carole. Aunt Kim made bean soup and cornbread. So we visited for awhile with Emmy and Carole and now we are home getting ready for another work and school week. Gosh, where do the weekends go?

Saturday, November 15th

Clayton has spent most of the day playing video games
Clayton found these addition and subtraction post it notes in mommy's office and filled them all out and posted them on his door for display...........I haven't had the heart to take them down yet......

Poor Cammie fell asleep on the couch watching what else....but "Hairspray"....

Sorry this hasn't been updated in awhile, but we haven't done much. Today mommy is cleaning house and doing laundry. Mommy was supposed to go out with friends tonight, and then go visit her sister who is in town from Florida but Camryn has a fever and isn't feeling well. So, we are going to stay in on this cold, rainy Saturday. Daddy and Christian are gone hunting and will be back tomorrow.

Saturday, November 1st

Today daddy went on a 36 mile bike ride with Patrick R. They had a great time and didn't get too worn out to make it back home. Meanwhile, mommy cleaned house and did laundry. Amber came over for most of the morning and afternoon and played with the kids. She also helped mommy bake a lemon cake for uncle John's birthday. Then we headed over to mamaw Mary's for uncle John's birthday party. We had a great time hanging out and the kids played outside and in the basement.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Check out all of my candy!!!

Clayton, Tyler, and Camryn trick-or-treating

Pretty Ballerina

Batman (Tyler from across the street)
and The Brain (Clayton)

Today was busy at daycare. Every class (except for the babies) had a halloween party. The kids all had a great time. Daddy picked the kids up early from daycare and took them home to get them fed and ready for trick-or-treating. After mommy got home from work, we set out with Tyler across the street to trick-or-treat around the neighborhood. Camryn couldn't figure out why everyone was giving her candy. But she got the hang of it and ran up to each house with the boys. We ended up at mamaw Mary and papaw Fred's house.........
